Who Do You Think You Are?

As I sat down to write this, I had the Spice Girls song "Who Do You Think You Are?" playing on repeat in my head.

"I said who do you think you are
Oh, oh (do you think you are, I said)
Ooh some kind of superstar"

Who do I think I am and why should anyone care what I have to say?

Well, I'll tell you.

My name is Tabitha and I was a secondary English education major in college. I spent seven years in the classroom teaching English in both the middle and high school setting. I have taught everything from sixth grade through twelfth grade and my favorite thing, no matter the grade, was hearing about the books my students loved and suggesting some of my favorites to them.

I am no longer in the classroom, but the desire to talk about books has never left. Since I no longer have a classroom full of students, I wanted to find another way to continue sharing about the books that I have loved for years and new loves I discover each year.

I live in the Midwest with my husband, two young children, and two dogs. My love of English has saturated my life so much so that my husband and I met in a college poetry class. I fill my spare time with my family, traveling, reading, and writing. I am trying to impart my love of reading on my children.

I truly believe everyone can love reading. If they don't, they just haven't found the right book yet. While I have my personal favorites, my interests span everything from young adult to non-fiction, romance to drama, thrillers to sci-fis, and horrors to poetry. Here you will find a little bit of everything.

Thanks for coming along for the ride.
